A Novel Inner Wall Coating-Insulated Oil Pipeline for Scale and Wax Prevention

During the production of deep oil and gas, scaling, waxing, hydrate ice plugging other problems easily occur. To solve these problems, reducing temperature loss pipelines is a feasible method. In order to protect outer wall coating from being damaged losing its thermal insulation performance, this paper proposes developed technology for novel inner coating-insulated pipeline. A new temperature-resistant heat-insulating material aerogel was optimized developed, it has an extremely low conductivity less than 0.055 W/m·K. The influence different processes on coefficient analyzed, pipeline developed. testing evaluation platform effect built, finite element model established analyze field distribution. When thickness 0.5 mm, improved by about 29%. This could be widely used in high salinity water reservoirs, thin etc., alleviate scaling waxing phenomena.
